Yes, the ever-popular game is back! For those who've forgotten, the rules are:

1. One of us quotes an episode (and tells us which season it's from).
2. The rest of us try and guess what episode the quote comes from.
3. The winner (and ONLY the winner - no barging in, please) sets the next one.
4. Like ccb's quizzes, only checking the actual episode is allowed (no other resources, for example books written by Susan Kesler ).

Before that unfortunate mishap, the quote was "Was that a shot?" as set by nittanyapple...

Season 3
You can take your pick of the lot of them.

Clue the first:
I love Artie's silent gesturing in the tag.

Clue the second:
And Artie likes to rag Jim about forgetfulness!

Right you are. You're up.

Burning Diamond, Jim to Baines as Baines reports on his visit to the Serbian consulate (while Artie makes faces behind Baines' back).

Season 1:

That must have been jolly.

Clue #1: Faster than a speeding bullet...

Clue #2: Typical bureaucrat.

Clue #3: Diamonds are a girl's best friend... or so they say.

I just plain forgot about this!

That must have been jolly.

I am sure that's the Markham I was thinking of. Two agents named Markham. Both killed. So if your name is Markham, don't join the SS!

niecie Posted - 02/03/2019 : 14:18:20
Oh, that was quick! Yes, you're right (and I wasn't sure which of the remaining dancing girls she was either).

You're up, Cal Gal.

(By the way, apparently there was a character named Markham in this episode. The guy who says 'Silva' to Jim before expiring? Maybe.)
California gal Posted - 02/02/2019 : 18:23:15
Kohner to, I believe, Gerta (or one of the gals) talking about the saloon in Denver where they are going to be working, in TNOT Running Death.

Season 3
A healthy percentage, my sweet, and don't you forget it.

Clue the first:
Artie's first disguise of the episode is one of his most delightful (in my opinion), but the second features a horrible bald wig. *shudder*

Clue the second:
The pity is that the stuntman standing in for the Big Bad in the climactic fight scene just does not look like the actor - especially the really bad bald wig. (Yep, two - count 'em, two! - really bad bald wigs in a single episode!)

Ok, here we go:

Ok, I'll find a quote to post when I'm back online next weekend.
California gal Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:31:36
I think there is another episode where an agent named Markham has some bad luck of some sort but I can't remember for sure right now.

In any case, you are right! Your turn.
niecie Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:26:26
Oh! The Eccentrics! (Unless there was another Markham??)

Actually, I think it's when J&A show up and find the door locked, so they BOTH light tiny flamethrowers to light a single fuse. (And Jim's is so overpowered, Artie flinches away from it. I love that bit.)
California gal Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:21:43
Season 2:

Letís not stand on ceremony.

Clue #1: Artie really hangs around in this one.

Clue #2: And Jim knows how to push buttons.

Clue #3: If your name is Markham, don't join the Secret Service!
California gal Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:20:38
Not yet.
niecie Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:12:21
Lord of Limbo? (If not, I'll need another clue, I think.)
California gal Posted - 01/27/2019 : 20:06:22
Speaker right. Episode not so much.
niecie Posted - 01/27/2019 : 13:39:00
Pretty sure this is Artie talking to Jim. The episode? Uh...

Going to guess it's from TNOT Surreal McCoy. Maybe?

Wild but correct! Your turn, Cal Gal!

Lady Beatrice to Jim after she encounters him in the Prince's room, in TNO Two-Legged Buffalo. (Wild guess.)

Season 1
Well, I think I'd better get back to my crocheting. (Spottily captioned; this is what I heard the speaker say.)

Clue the first:
Looks more like tatting than crochet to me, but I see neither a shuttle nor a hook. Just sayin'.

Clue the second:
Good thing for Jim that aim was off!

Clue the third:
Much shirtlessness abounds for Our Heroes (yes, plural!).

Clue the fourth:
The surprise Big Bad in this episode was nastily annoying!!

Clue the fifth:
The speaker is no shrinking violet.

Clue the sixth:
Clank... heh...

Clue the seventh:
Artie does a pretty good Ronald Colman accent. (A bit anachronistic, yeah?)

Clue the eighth:
The old 'gun-in-the-bouquet-of-flowers' trick!

Clue the ninth:
Jim scissor-breaks that lance into three pieces!

Clue the tenth:
Aw, did you hear that? She made Jim's day!

Clue the eleventh:
Jim uses an alias in this one.
