Probably better to leave our series alone. Modern writers would politicize the entire series and would miss the fun altogether. The action may be there but it would be gory. I doubt we would hardly recognize it as the same series.

I would love to see it done right. (I can dream, can't I?) (And I would likely accept either Warwick Davis or Peter Dinklage as Dr Loveless in a heartbeat!) However, Hollywood's track record on revisiting 60s tv shows would have me cringing instead.
