My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. I did search the forums. Who actually owns the rights to the Wild Wild West?
(I figured that I would pester the studio to release it on DVD.
I do know that it is available at Columbia House.)

Thanks!
John

My guess is that CBS still owns the show, though Viacom has owned distribution rights for as long as the series has been in syndication (1970 + ). And Viacom is now a subsidiary of Paramount.

Only their lawyers know for sure.

And although CBS isn't owned by Viacom, the Eye is in bed with it corporately (which is why all the news reports in War of the Worlds [made by DreamWorks and Paramount] come from CBS instead of one of those made-up rolling news channels that crops up all the time in movies).
