Last week, it was Carroll O'Connor's voice I heard in my head. This week, I'm hearing Burgess Meredith in TNOT Human Trigger saying "Luke Sorrow". I'm not as up-to-speed on this episode, so I can't remember exactly what the context is, or who these people were. Perhaps the mayors of the towns Cadwallader destroyed with his earthquakes? Anyone else wanna tag in on these clues?

Yes, I hear voices in my head...but as long as they're from the Wild, Wild West, it's a beautiful affliction to deal with.

The names ring a bell to me too but I can't remember which episode. I think they were a group of bad guys that did something together.

It's probably time to close this one down. Honrable mentions to all players, and a Henrietta apiece for Charlie and Dieter, who are sniffing the right trail.

The speaker is indeed Burgess Meredith; the episode, "The Human Trigger." According to Professor Cadwallader, Luke Sorrow, Clay Crawford, and Adam Bogadis were the three ranchers who hired him to use his geological skill to help them locate the best grazing–land for their cattle. After he had done so, they refused to compensate him properly, which pushed the professor over the edge and into earthquakes. As played by Mr. Meredith, Cadwallader was enough of a nut-cake that he hardly needed more than a nudge.

See y'all later this week(end).

I wish. Maybe I could actually solve a quiz.

lleory: Charlie, those voices in your head are really scary!

I think they're great voices. They belonged to good actors who knew how to deliver their lines.

Yeah, those voices are a bit scary from time to time! But I'm a pretty auditory learner (I've been a piano player for the past 20 years), and when you watch something as enjoyable and obsession-feeding as WWW, you start hearing weird stuff, especially how dialogue inadvertantly lines up with the rhythm of the music.

Take, for example, an episode at the bottom of most peoples' lists: TNOT Miguelito's Revenge. During the scene after Loveless is on the stage with the giant steam-driven mannequin, Jim is looking for them in the halls. When Loveless says the words, "Tell me, Tiny...", listen to how that falls in with the rhythm of the incidental music. Now, if THAT'S not scary, lemme hear yours!

So, going back to the title of this week's quiz, "Who Are We?"

We're all obsessed. Happily.
