If you're traveling and you happen to come across the Sedgewick Hotel and you decide to stay, whatever you do, don't stay in Room 12. What a way to try to achieve eternal youth, this is really a bizarre tale and it's one of my favorite episodes of the 4th season. It's got everything -

    * Great action and adventure
    * Rain storms with dry streets
    * Revolving walls
    * A Large mansion with secret rooms
    * A unique canopy bed designed exclusively for mother-in-laws
    * A quick way to go into early retirement and a nursing home in just 24 hours
    * The perfect somber, dark, and eerie music by Richard Shores

Ross Martin is excellent as both Colonel Doyle and as a Frenchman. The music alone is worth 5 stars. I've always wondered what it would be like to have that painting of the New Crest, the "three swords driven into a human heart" on the wall in my living room....nah, better not.

5 Stars

Jim West doesn't have any nerves. I'd guess the drink is more to acknowledge the gravity of what is being said.

A agree that this is one of season 4's best episodes. The haunting music alone made this one stand out among all others!! To be used again in the later creepy episodes like Sabitini Death and Bleak Island. Love these spooky episodes so much---better than the too-western ones!! I wish they made more. Night of the Man-Eating-House started it all!!!!
Star episode!!!
