I was recently tagged on a FB post by James Cawley (remember him?) : "Be prepared to board The Wanderer in 2017."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After years of hoping, the WWW fan film is back on track!

Final script expected any time now and Production Crew invites have begun (you bet I said yes)! No word on possible film date - but I'd guess either early spring or fall (just not during their main tourist season).

That IS good news. Keep us updated if James doesn't!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

That would be awesome!! I've been wondering if he will finally get back to that after all his Star Trek work.

How does a fan film work? I haven't heard about this before.

They are simply films about a certain show with amateur (for the most part) actors, not connected to any professional production company. James Cawley did a number of them for Star Trek. I don't have any links right now, but perhaps someone else does. They are a perfect example.

A few years ago James announced his intention of filming a WWW episode and actually began work on it, but apparently ran short of funds. We are hoping this time it actually happens.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Sadly not a single word further since my initial post. It seems it's back in limbo again. Frustrating!!
