Again Kudos to you Soulburst for the Halloween premise,
TNOT Undead is a gothic epic for Wild, Wild West. This is one of my old time favorites. The sense of a Gothic atmosphere is relentless. Our heroes are in the myterious and threatening Bayou, in Which corpses walk and the innocent become Zombies. This mystery takes our heroes ito the depths of voodoo to wind up in the old house with a secret plot. And what a plot that is. A devilish plot planned by a truly madman. Hurd Hadfield is truly gripping in his vengeance seeking Dr. Articulus. All he wants is the girl, even if it has to be his intended's daughter. Quite the twist for old Dorian Gray, instead of staying young, he will seek the young. Phalah is a very honorable villainess, she is only one in a few who can see right through Artie's Disguises. And her undying love for Articulus meets its Zenneth once she kills him, while he is attacking West, thus if she can't have the man she loves no one will. The moment is forever captured in my mind as West slowy takes the gun in disgust as he is forced to lead Phalah away, before the old house destroys itself. Articulus' plot truly gives me goose bumps in that he has a zombie army at his finger tips, who will do anything he asks, but he is refreshing in that he does not have the Zombies assassinate Grant, kill off his competition, or try to subdue our duo. Instead, he wants nothing more than to recapture happier times by marrying his intended's daughter. Thus, TNOT Undead lives up to the status quo of the entire series: that nothing is as it appears to be. (A true Gothic Masterpiece).
