While you're pondering possible fanny-ploppers (see WQ 167), ask yourself who in The Series called the following home:

1. Sans Souci
2. Box Canyon
3. Willow Manor
4. The Wanderer
5. Triton's Locker
6. The Alto Palace
7. Live Oak Manor
8. The Pot of Gold
9. La Casa Estrada
10. The Crow's Nest
11. Shadows of Sucre
12. Double Tree Ranch
13. The Bancroft Boarding House
14. Mrs. Peacock's Boarding House

1. Sans Souci - I think is where Melonie in TNO Sabatini Death
2. Box Canyon - El Sordo in TNOT Jack'o Diamonds (I'm not really comfortable with this guess, and may amend later).
4. Wanderer - the train that James West and Artemus Gordon live on
8. The Pot o Gold - I believe is a boat, but I can't quite figure out...
11. Shadows of Sucre - Might be Mosley in TNOT Underground Terror
12. Double Tree Ranch - General Kroll in TNOT Doomsday Formula

Well, this is my best guesses at such a late hour. I may look at them again after a good night's sleep and say "how the heck did I come up with that?". The only one I'm truely sure of is the Wanderer.

Some of these I know, but I only have strength to answer number four - Jim and Artie call The Wanderer home, and so do most of us. I'm off to cough and take my antibiotic.

7. Live Oak Manor. I think this is Vautrain's (or however the heck you spell that) house in Lord of Limbo.

Indeed, it is. I was literally on the new search engine on this website (which is excellent) when Leslie beat me to the punch.
But, I did pull it out of my feeble brain and was just confirming it on the search engine.

That's the easy one ...

#5 should have something to do with Watery Death?

#8 should have something to do with Ready-Made Corpse?

Hey Red,
Don't congratulate me yet. These are my best guesses through the process of elimination. However, there are many bars, Manors, Boats, Canyons, etc. in our favorite series. So please don't take my guesses as true and final answers.

Hey Beerbad,
Thanks for welcoming me back. I've been away from the site for far too long (Post wise), I still read the board however when I was "Away". You know to get my daily WWW fix. LOL

Honorable mentions to Karen and Red, for their ample encouragement;

Homey Henriettas to Leslie and beerbad for first spotting Live Oak Manor, plus the Wanderer; and to Stash for being first in with four correct answers (##1, 4, 11, 12);

and, with an impressive 8-and-one-half answers—## 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 (1/2), 14— Herr O. triumphantly returns for an Anabella! Congratulations and welcome back!

Tending to the rest of housekeeping:

2. Box Canyon was the location of Mr. Singh's palace ("The Night of the Golden Cobra," Act II);
3. Willow Manor, home of the Crenshaws ("The Diva," Act I);
6. The Alto Palace, gambling saloon and hideout for Torres ("The Steel Assassin," Act III);
8. The Pot of Gold, posh casino where Crystal packed her bag for the last time ("A Thousand Eyes," Act I);
13. It was Mr. Lindsey, not Mr. Kingston ("The Running Death"), who swooped down the stairs of Miss Bancroft's Boarding House ("The Bogus Bandits," Act I).
