OK. It's getting close to the end of football season and the last few games left on the board to find out who will play next week to rep the AFC & NFC in the Superbowl.

The Pats killed the Broncs but the game for today (SAT) had to have been the 49er v Saint game. I was at work and didn't see any of the plays. All I saw was the score. I stopped refreshing my screen when it became 24-23 Saints. I must say that I was afraid to check the score after what I knew was the end of the game in fear of seeing that the 49ers had lost. But they hadn't and from what I had read off of the sports news site it had been a thrilling ending that brought their win. Talk about wanting to get home quick to watch the news or sports channel hoping to see the vids of the games. Wasn't disapointed and was flabbergasted at what took place in the last 5 minutes of the game. Talk about "WOW!"

Anyone interested in the Superbowl?

What matchup are you rooting for?

49ers aren't in the Super Bowl yet. There's one more playoff game with NY next Sunday. But we are hoping.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

It's ironic that two teams that the Eagles had sizeable 4th quarter leads on, only to lose the games are both in the Superbowl.
Had they won even one of those games, they would have been in the playoffs anbd possibly Superbowl bound themselves.
Oh well.

I don't like the Giants, being bitter rivals of the Eagles, so San Fran, let's see what you got.

Local paper brought up that this Superbowl had the potential to be Har-bowl II. Sibling head coaches against each other in the Superbowl.

I liked reading this last week before the games. All the possibilities. I'll hope for any one that has the 49ers in it.

My neighbor is a Raiders fan...really odd in the Steeler Nation, especially since he grew up here!

I used to know a guy who was a "life long fan" of the team that won the Super Bowl the previous year.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Pats fan here!

It`s interesting that one team strength is offense and the other three are known for their defense. If you believe that defense wins championships the Pats will be the first team eliminated, which could happen as their in the early game.

But they could exorcise a lot of demons if they go all the way

Beating the Jets twice avenges last years playoff loss
Beating the Ravens Sunday would avenge 2009 Playoff loss
Beating the Giants in the Super Bowl would avenge 2007 Super Bowl loss
Beating them in Indianapolis, where they lost to the Colts in the AFC
Championship in 2006.

That`s a lot of losses, isn`t it! It`s a tall order but I think they can do it. LET`S GO DEFENSE!!

As a Bears fan, I wonder who RC is pulling for?

Man that was close!!! Patriots again for a seventh appearance.

Now it's time for the Niners to win.

I`m not sure the Pats deserved to win, but I`ll take it! In any case, either N.Y. or S.F. will give them all they can handle.

Good Luck to your teams!

Well all could have changed had the Ravens not missed that kick!! Unreal that he missed that!! That was a nail-biter!! Now lets see --- Giants just moved ahead with that field goal 10-7.

Enjoy the rest!!

Poop! Well, there goes the Har-bowl. Maybe next year.

It's a repeat of 2007's Superbowl 42.

On the good side, I don't have to worry about watching the Super Bore. Wonder if anyone will outside of the northeast...

James: Thanks, Artie.

Apparently, only when the 49ers play. I was rooting for the Niners also. I hope the fans give Kyle Williams a break. I`m hearing that they are wishing him, his wife and his family dead.

Very sad

It's sad that there are those kind of people out there. Things happen. Could be those ugly ones had big bets on the Niners.

I have watched other Super Bowls but they tend to be such lopsided games that only the fans of the leading team stay interested!

The commercials are far more interesting.

James: Thanks, Artie.

People say such evil things, I can't stand it. It's just a game. Enjoy it for that, don't make it anything more. Good luck to both teams and their fans. Enjoy the game.

If I watch it, the sound will be muted except for the commercials. I have a movie I want to watch and I think that will be more entertaining.
