Oh, I'm so sorry, tomk. Yes, it is bad everywhere--but hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight.

Well, thinking cap back on. Doomsday was the first one that popped into my head!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I did a quick scan through Diva and it didn't jump out at me, but I'm going to guess it anyway

And I'm going to guess Lola to Jim in Gruesome Games.

Close, huh? Means I'm going to have to watch the episode--or maybe someone else knows it. If so, take it away!

Well, I had to watch the episode twice, but found it.

Jim to No Fun in Gruesome Games.

That was a good clue, TomK. I didn't get it until Cal Gal mentioned No Fun (I always liked his name). Good luck with the job hunting!

That would be Dr. Bey to Jim in "The Night of the Grand Emir" (the "it" is being hung upside down).

No, scratch that... it's T. Wiggett Jones in the same episode, after he's locked Jim in a casket (with two substances that produce a deadly gas) that Jones claims is escape-proof. (He later finds out that he did a bit too good a job in that respect...)

Good going, CL1969. You must watch that episode more often than I do. I had made a note of that quote last time I did watch it. (And thanks for not making it necessary to come up with a clue! )

So you are up!

I think we need a clue, DT. I've watched some season 2 eps and have wracked my brain trying to think of a situation where that quote fits. No luck so far!

That remark first reminded me of the end of Undead I believe in season 3. Didn't the girl say exactly that quote in tag after Jim flipping attached house of playing cards over?? Wrong season for this quote..

Yes, she said it when Jim tossed her the card structure. But it's been in several other episodes in various forms. May or may not be in the one DT's quote is in! I think it's in Sue's book that a picture is shown of a "sampler" with that quote on it.

But I can't think of an episode involving a ricochet (or not) in season 2!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Exactly my thoughts too. I just don't recall the "ricochet" quote at all right now, but remember the clue quote from Undead. Pretty frustrating, huh!!!

Here is another obscure clue (and finding obscure clues for this episode is tough) -

An island in the Lesser Antilles

You're a BIG help!

(But I agree, finding clues without completely giving it away is hard!)

Back to Google...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

You forced me to watch one of my least favorite episodes, but I did, because it was the only one I could match the Lesser Antilles clue to. ("What happened to the Barbados accent?) And of course, the quote appeared near the end so I had to watch the whole thing!

Jim to Artie in TNOT Returning Dead, when Jim tells Artie to fire 3 shots into a bag of (apparently) feed so that it would appear that Jim, Artie and Elizabeth had been shot.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I think it is funny you don't like the episode. Maybe I just overlook its faults because I love Sammy Davis Jr.

Anyway, you got it. My next clue was going to be "sweet shop", that would have been a dead give away.
