Season one is a hard one for me. I keep getting distracted by the special features and episodes I haven't seen in a while. I thought it might be Lydia Monteran to Jim in Inferno, but she says "Is this business.'

D. T.—It is Lydia Monterran. She' smooching West as she says it, so maybe I misunderstood her!

You're up!

Dang! I kept thinking of Inferno but couldn't put the "social call/visit" to it! So I didn't watch it. Good work, DT!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Shame on you ccb...being distracted by a pretty face. I only get distracted when Jim is shirtless. I guess I get distracted kind of frequently.

Time for Season 3

Well, that was a rarity of late, but you just happened to choose a quote from one of my favorite eps! Funny how it goes--we get on a string of easy ones and then they are suddenly impossible to guess (or almost impossible).

So... let me see what I can find.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Here's one:

Season 3:

Care to join us?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

You know, it's a good thing I keep a list of these quotes and check them off as I use them. After a day or two I forget myself where the quotes came from and have to go back and look!

I guess if no one gets it by this evening I'll have to struggle to find a clue or two...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

OK, OK, here's your first clue. Let's get musical again, with a great old American folk song.

"Hand me down my walking cane..."

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I think I know the episode but not the speaker so I will have to wait until I can watch it to be sure.

I'm with Dieter...I'm looking (and enjoying myself doing it).

My mother spent a few nights with me while her AC is fixed. Of course she was subject to watch WWW while I searched for the quote. She commented how much better the quality of shows were back then as compared to now. I think she enjoyed watching them. She is definitely an Angel not a Jewel. I kept hearing, "Where's Artie?"

I'll see if I can think of another clue by tomorrow.

Your mother is a wise woman--except for the Artie part, of course.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I gotta agree with your mom there, Double Take. I recently started jumping around with the WWW dvd's again, just to check them out, and feel the same way. They were so much more "real" compared to all the current garbage on the air now. So much bogus computerized junk on action/drama, and just no closeness as Jim & Artie had with characters on today's shows. Today's cheap-to-tape reality shows mostly make me want to puke. They are so fake and are mostly for mental people to pass the time. (Not my quote, but heard it and agreed).

You mean he didn't get that out of the closet yet? I hope you didn't give him a birthday present. (Did you ever hear of blackmail?)

He only got part of them sigh. And I gave him exactly what he gave me Seems he has no interest in WWW so it "slips" his mind.

You're right, DT. Find us a good weekend quote. Or middle-of-the-weekend quote. Whatever. A good one.

And Pet, next time the lad asks for a favor, hold out until he gets your DVDs for you! He's got to learn what is important in life!

James: Thanks, Artie.

Well, you happened to pick an episode I enjoy watching--and I like that particular Artie scene. Let me think about this. Maybe I can come up with another good one. And maybe it'll be in one that Pet has her DVDs for!

Let's see how long this one lasts.

Season 3:

That’s an interesting notion.

James: Thanks, Artie.
