Well, THAT helped. Also helped me understand the smile reference--Artie's "Mona Lisa" smile, which was mentioned in a couple of other episodes. I almost watched this episode last night, but didn't. Checked this morning.

Miss Piecemeal to Jim in Torture Chamber.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

You got it so you're up! I'm glad you figured out the Mona Lisa smile.

Originally when you mentioned the smile, all I could think of was the smirk in the 2nd tag to, I think, Running Death, when Artie is finally beating Jim at poker. However, once you gave the clue about beauty, it all came together.

Let me see what I can find...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Maybe time for a clue?

I wondered if it was someone in the gorilla hunting party in Simian Terror, but you can't hear anything clearly.

Not Simian Terror.

First Clue.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

No one wants to guess, huh? I thought that clue would give it away! Surely this one will...

Clue #2: Roll out the barrel...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

You fell asleep during ****? You must have been really, really tired!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

It was 11:30. Yeah, I was tired. I managed to stay awake during the shirtless scenes though

Artie to Jim. Amnesiac.

Those shirtless scenes are enough to keep anyone awake... for awhile. Then sweet dreams!

You are right! Your turn.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

That sounds like something sarcastic Jim would say...

Funny, I was thinking it sounded like an Artie quip. But I haven't figured out the episode yet!

James: Thanks, Artie.

I'm good at crossword puzzles, and pretty good with jigsaw puzzles, but this one has me stumped. I watched a couple of eps I thought they might apply to, but either I missed the quote or it wasn't there!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I guess that means you want another clue!

Ok, try this one on for size:

They could have played a duet.

Oh that really helps! I'll get back to you.

OK, let's whittle them down.

Artie in Deadly Blossom?

I'm saying these because I know a hot hoagie is also called a torpedo, and these were episodes with torpedoes! I may be way off... Have no idea about the duet business yet.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Hmmm...torpedo. That's a new one to me. Must be a California thing. I just checked out Wikipedia and it seems the names are very local.

So in reference to hint #1 - think Philadelphia. Also related to hint #1 - body part could also be a musical instrument, but not one that you would want to hear as a duet on www.

But as to Deadly Blossom - 'fraid not. As to Artie - I just went and checked - yes it is Artie with his Mona Lisa smile (no that is not a hint).
