Not 'Fugitives'...and not Artie.

Jeremy to Jim - Camera (This may not be the correct quote since Jeremy started his phrase with Jim, you had me worried. Or something like that.)

I have watched several season 4 and the line comes up a number of times in different forms. I guess with Jim around that isn't surprising.

Not 'Camera'. It wouldn't surprise me if it were said in more than one ep.

It was in a conversation between a guest star and one of our heroes.

I think if DT's latest guess isn't right, we're going to need a clue or two. At least I am!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

So it's not Artie... is it the Skipper Ned Brown to Jim in "The Night of the Sabatini Death"?

Not 'Winged Terror' or 'Sabatini'.

It's safe to say that the statement lacked sincerity.

Morton to West in Fire & Brimstone?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Hey Falcon, I do think we need another clue. I've watched several S4 episodes other than what have been guessed here and still haven't found it!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

As stated earlier, Artie was not in this scene.

In addition, Artie was in Washington DC.

Well, that helps... sorta. Means I have to watch some of my least favorite season 4 eps!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Well, it is really narrowed down since Winged Terror, Sabatini Death and Camera are out.

How about Sir Nigel Scott to Jim - Bleak Island

I think I know the episode, but will have to guess at the speaker!

Artie to Jim in Human Trigger

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

The bartender in the teaser?

James: Thanks, Artie.

I was going to say Jim as my second guess, but then remembered the bartender's skepticism. Let me see what I can find.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Season 2:

How am I going to do that?

James: Thanks, Artie.

Right speaker, wrong episode. Not VV. I'll see if I can come up with a clue later today if no one gets it.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Looks like a clue is needed. This might do it:

A little bitty tear let me down...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I'll go for Artie to Jim in "The Night of the Man-Eating House" (featuring a weeping portrait) when he wonders how he's supposed to distract Liston Day Diaz.
