I could "hear" Jim saying it to some weak-willed man, but my thought was to Mr. Tickle in TNOT Loveless Died, which I found out was wrong. Good going, DT!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Do you realize that could have been said--and perhaps was--in about 27 of the 28 season 2 episodes?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Well, at least you know who the speaker was addressing.

I'll try this one without looking at the DVDs:

Gerta speaking to West in the train in 'Feathered Fury'.

"Don't try anything, Mr. West."

Jeremiah, "The Night of the Returning Dead."

(I'll stop barging in, I promise. But since I took this episode to the cleaners in another thread, I feel as though I should make amends.)

ccb, you are always welcome! And you are also correct. Any more quotes rattling around in your head that need to be identified?

That sounds either like a female or a geek... is it Bosley Cranston in "The Night of the Camera"?

Artie, in disguise as the ailing Henri Picheaux, to the clerk who brings him water in Sedgewick Curse?

Is that how you spell it? I never knew. That's why I sometimes intrude on this thread: to get old questions answered.

You're up, C. G.

I would never have known how to spell the name, but I had closed captioning on, and that's how they spelled it!

I will consult my copious notes and see if I can find one to Stump the Stars.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Time to make a guess... this sounds like a villain. Would it be Loveless in... "The Night That Terror Stalked The Town"?

Not Terror Stalked the Town, but you are right that the words are spoken by a villain.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Nope. Not Wizard Shook the Earth.

Keep going. Probably have what, 18-19 episodes left? You're in the hot seat!

I have no idea who the speaker might be, but is this from Bars of Hell? And if so, I'd guess it would be the warden talking to Jim?

[Jim] Artie, you will help, won’t you?

Torry is right. It's the warden when Jim & Artie appear in the room where he's starting to clean out the safe.

So, Torry, find us a quote!

James: Thanks, Artie.
