Maybe it's Artie, in reference to Jim's arranging to have the Prince kidnapped?

Well, it's Artie, but not in that situation. I guess I can give it to you.

It actually occurs after the Prince informs them about the buffalo hunt and they are put back in the storeroom. Artie asks the question to make sure Jim comprehends that the Prince means they are to be the "buffalo."

You're up.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I'm home from opening gifts and having a wonderful breakfast and waiting until time to go to dinner, so I'll contribute my mystery quote here just in case someone else has time on their hands.

Season 1

Tell me what to do to help you.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I have a feeling it's not Jim or Artie saying that...

It is Jim...right after Artie tries to talk him into making a New Years resolution not to kiss every women he meets.

I think we're going to need a clue (or two or three) on this one. Season 3 is the season I watch more episodes regularly than any other, and I cannot come up with this quote!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I think it might be a female... is it Vixen O'Shaughnessy in "The Night of the Firebrand" not wanting to go back to finishing school?

I wouldn't blame her, but no it is not from Firebrand. You are correct as to the sex of the speaker.

You forced me to watch my least-liked season 3 episode, even though in initially I couldn't figure out the kitty-chiropractor clue. I just couldn't think of the scene occurring in any other episode. But then I remembered the skeleton of the prehistoric cat!

Naomi, in Simian Terror, when Jim is dragging her back to the house.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

One of my least favorite episodes, as well. But I was cold and that made me think of Jim crouched by the fire.

Take it away, Cal Gal!

OK, let's try this.

Season 2:

What’s uncommon about you?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Well, that didn't last long at all.

You're up, Falcon!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

He did annoy Mr. Wolfe, didn't he?

I'll find a quote to use later today.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

No guesses even? Guess I'll have to start thinking of the dreaded obscure clues!

Is it from "The Night of the Amnesiac," or is that too obvious?

A little too obvious. I will say it's not said in that context. If that helps!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

It sounds like something either of our boys could have said to the other.

So how about Jim to Artie - Vipers?

You're half right. Not Jim. Not Vipers. One other person was present as well.

James: Thanks, Artie.
