I think it's Artie talking to Jeffers in 'Headless Woman'.

Hmm...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I can tell you what it's NOT. It's not what I'd say to Artie!

Just a wild guess (I haven't checked since it is not on my list of episodes to watch this week) - how about prudish Dr. A. J. Pringle to manly J. T. West (boy did she get that one wrong).

I'll give that one to you, but she didn't say it to West.

I'm thinking she said it to the bad guys.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Curious -- I just found a 'Take your hands off me' in Season 1 - TNOT Grand Emir, when Artie prevents Ecstasy from stabbed the Emir.

But you said Season 2...

If she didn't say it to West (though she did say something about him keeping his manly hands to himself), then maybe she said it to Horatio Philo.

I loved the grin on his face once he had her somewhat subdued (just before the other guys came in). While Artie was grappling with her though, trying to wrest the knife from her -- uh, I think his arm landed just a bit, um, high crossing her chest?

Of course, I was thinking through most of the episode, 'Batgirl on WWW -- *huge grin*'

DT, in case you didn't notice, theFalcon gave you the go.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Season 3 - Who said and to whom is obvious, so you only have to figure out which episode

Jim in TNOT Loveless Died, talking about Loveless's office (or else the elevator, I'm not positive).

James: Thanks, Artie.

that sounds like Loveless to one of his henchmen - Miguelito's Revenge

Is that when he runs out of Napoleon's exquisite brew?

That sounds like the Phantom the kidnapper of the two opera singers telling Igor to get rid of them (in any manner as long as they can't talk) because they'll never sing the way she used to in "The Night of the Diva."

Correct episode, correct speaker, wrong scene. Take it if you want it.
