Not a Loveless episode.

Clue #1: Almonds

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Right episode, right speaker, but wrong situation. It occurred later when they had busted up Warren Trevor's scheme to buy Africa.

But you're close enough, Dieter. Take it away!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I think this is Ecstasy La Joie to Jim - Grand Emir

Now I remember...in the carriage right after she pricks Jim with her drugged ring. Jim must have stolen that idea from her and used it on Norbert Plank in Fugatives.

Jim in "The Night of the Running Death"? Just a guess (the plot involves dancers).

This is a hard one!

My guess is that it is James speaking in THE NIGHT OF THE HANGMAN.

You have the right episode, but wrong speaker. He was present though.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Perhaps it's Jim after he's shot Ahkeema (but before Ahkeema makes his incredibly convenient last-second about-face).

You're concentrating on the wrong end of the episode, CL69.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
