Season 1:

You’re doing the talking.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I finally remembered to go look for this last night!

The soup is in the tag.
Rooster -- no clue.
Hero worship is Richard Henry towards Jim.
The turtle is Wolfe's tank.
Monocle is part of Artie's disguise.

And the quote is Jim in disguise as Robert Crandall (love the initials!) to Wolfe the bad guy in TNOT Freebooters.

The rooster was the vane that Jim so expertly hit with the fancy gun. At least I think it was a rooster. I haven't watched the ep for a while.

But you are right, Niecie. Your game.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Oh, right! That came after the quote, and I didn't continue watching once I heard Jim say the line.

Ok, here's a new one:

I'm not sure about the oats (unless it has something to do with Jim and the sowing of wild oats?), but the 'Shy?' finally led me to TNOT Double-Edged Knife. Gen Ball says the line to Jim, just before their final fight.

Quaker Oats for the Quaker member of the committee (or whatever they were). I was desperate for clues! That's why the question mark and the winking smiley face.

But you are correct, Niecie.

Oh my word! I never thought of Quaker! (But I think they wrote him right, with the Quaker speech quirks and the fact that he didn't drink.)

Well, that last one should help! Is it the chef from "The Night of the Avaricious Actuary"?
