Death-Maker, when Jim is going to enter a door--I think--where the monks are imprisoned and some lug tries to stop him. Jim is wearing that discarded monk's robe.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Correcto! That's it exactly. And the 'Mercedes Benz' symbols on the floor are shadows created by the hanging lamps overhead.

Your turn, Cal Gal.

Clue #1:
Imitation pleases, because it affords matter for inquiring into the truth or falsehood of imitation, by comparing its likeness or unlikeness with the original.
—John Dryden

Cal Gal has it! (I thought the 'Poe-tic' clue might be a bit too telling, but I couldn't think of anything else.)

Take it away, Cal Gal.

That was the clue that did it for me, although I was thinking of Deadly Blossom along with a couple others. I watched DB last night and saw the round red door, as well as heard the quote.

I shall return with a new one.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
