An extremely wild wild guess:

Fabian Lavendor (I may have misspelled that) in TNOT Ready-Made Corpse?

An extremely wild and wrong guess (in terms of both speaker and episode).

But it leads into a clue - that episode does have a link to the correct one.

You're on the right track, but the wrong episode (and it's not Loveless).

Wild wild WILD guess:

Jim in TNOT Deadly Blossom?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Wrong episode and wrong speaker (although Jim is in that scene).

I just thought I'd drop by this thread to see what's up (it's been a while) and knew this quote right away.....That was Jennifer (Kathie Browne) to Jim in Night of the Colonel's Ghost.

CL, can you explain your clues for this last quote? My gray matter is not functioning well and I cannot seem to put them together with the episode!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

"The Night of the Colonel's Ghost" had a raven, and both that and "The Night of the Ready-Made Corpse" were written by the same person (Ken Kolb).

How about Bleak Island? Let's say by Celia Rydell (Beverly Garland).

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

You got it, Cindylover....there really was no one else to choose from as far as other females. So you answered part 2 right but Cal Gal said the correct episode first. Basically you both win.

Whoever comes up with the next quote first just go right ahead I guess.

I don't know why, but it sounded like something a man would say to me!

CL, I'm going to be busy today with errands so if you have a quote ready. go ahead and post it. If you haven't by the time things settle down for me, I'll see what I can find.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
