Clue #2: The gas puts Artie to sleep at the end of the episode.
Clue #5: It's the freezeframes!

Act I: The big rectangle with the hand gets filled first for once (with Artie finishing his disguise)...
Act II: ...followed by the one with the bank (with a closeup of Stryker)...
Act III: ...followed by the one with the boot (with Jim in danger)...
Act IV: ...with the one with the lady to wrap up (a shot of the train). You never get them filled in that order in any other episode!

All of which means that niecie's right! Your turn...

"Make them both as uncomfortable as possible." - Marquis de la Mer, "The Night of the Watery Death"

Ok, here we go!

Season 1
And?

And because that's such a very short quote, here's the first clue to pinpoint the episode:
Foot brake.

A quick, and probably unsuccessful, guess:

Whuhhh!? It really was a lucky guess based on your clue.

Maybe this one will be easy:

Ok, let's get this wrapped up. You know which episode, now this should help with the speaker:

Clue #5 - Florida cowboys were known as Florida crackers because of this

Wild wild guess.

How about Miranda as the speaker?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I'll try Jim first since she spent so much time with him.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Since Jim is the wrong answer, I'm willing to bet that your next answer is correct. Let's move on to your next quote.

Gee, you're trusting that I would figure out the right answer!

OK, I will find a quote soon.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Nope and nope. I'm having a heck of a time thinking of clues that won't outright give it away. I'll try to come up with something soon.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Yes! You've got it! Thank you. I just was not coming up with any clues! (Next time I'd better think of clues before I choose the quote.)

Go for it.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I'm going to take a wild guess:

Griswold to Jim (and Artie?) in Assassin

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.
