Jim to the warden in Bars of Hell.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Now I got it. Jim to the guards who came to take him out of his dungeon in Bars of Hell.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Well, you picked an episode I have watched more than once. LOL!

I'll find a quote and probably be back tomorrow with it.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

From season 3:

Why not?

p.s. I might not be around this morning to respond to answers. Got to renew my driver's license!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I'm thinking it might be Jim but then I could be confusing it with a time during season 1 when he said it. Going thru eps in my head...

Why not?

This is not from Season Three of West. This is comedian Dayton Allen's favorite line to Steve Allen on the old Tonight show.

If these are your favourite lines of dialogue, I'd hate to see what qualifies as losers.

Yes, actually the title of the thread is misleading. It should be Stump the Board or something like that... sort of like your quizzes, ccb!

(I may have to give a clue or two later today--once again will be gone all morning.)

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Don't encourage the woman!

I think I've heard this line but more than once but my biggest problem is that I did hear it in Greatest American Hero and that's all I have stuck in my head. And I'm pretty sure that's not part of WWW (although Red looked pretty good in his appearances) lol

Agents! Ya can't live with them. And Admin takes a rather dim view to ya blowing em up.

Actually, you know what? This could qualify as a "favorite line" because of the context in which it appears.

I'm trying to think of a clue that wouldn't give it away immediately. Back later.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

No, he wasn't shirtless in this episode, unfortunately. But he did look dang good. So did Artie. The young ladies thought so anyway.

I'm trying my best to think of a clue that wouldn't completely give the episode away, but can't come up with any. It's been almost 24 hours anyway. So...

Love a two-gun man!

James: Thanks, Artie.

Do I have to give another clue? I think a few people are going to groan and say "I knew that!" once the right answer is posted.

Okay, okay...

4-legged friends

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

Friends in need.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Not the episode I am thinking of. I admit it could have been used in more than once in the season.
