Yeah that's right. It actually came from episode 29 of second season, that only he and I own!

OK. I shall put everyone out of their misery.

Is it Martin Dexter (or his evil twin) to James in TNOT Tottering Tontine.

SOAP? You mean the 70's comedy? I don't remember anyone from that show in www.

Good trick there, Roger!! While everyone's checking out the other 27 season 2 eps, they never thought it could be a line from the same ep as the last line!! Tontine happens to be one of my favorites from season 2 also!! Good job!!!

I know the soap reference, Roger. It's the guy who played Baring in Tontine who also played the lawyer on Y&R.

Yikes! Doogie Howser, MD! However, seeing pics of you during your recovery, I would say he probably did a bang up job!

Season One: You saw.

(This is by no means a favourite line, but I hope it's sufficiently obscure to count for this thread.)

I think you're overdoing it, ccb. But we shall persist and someone will find it (though we may need a clue or two eventually).

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

This is a single line. Not part of a line of dialogue is it?

This sounds familiar to me, but I am remembering it as a question or query rather than a statement (not that I remember the episode). Is it a statement?

I'm kinda remembering it as a question too. I'm thinking of the coolie/tong hatchet man to Jim in TNOT Dragon Screamed.

"Talking to yourself my dear Artemus?"

It's a habit he adopted during those lonesome nights on the prairie. That's the Prince in "The Two-Legged Buffalo" (Act I).
