Well, I'm back, and I will guess Artie to Anna in Sudden Plague when he finds out she's got a fiancé.

You know, every time someone makes a guess I think, oh yeah! I can hear that now. Someone's got to be right sooner or later! ccb?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I think what made this so hard was it doesn't sound like something Jim West would say! But Conroy Whitney would. The family ccb was hinting at was Lorie saying show people were like family.

Congrats, DT. And I watched that episode just a couple nights ago.

Well, I wasn't the only one who thought it sounded like something a woman would say!

Okay... I've been reasonably lucky in taking wild guesses, so I'll try again.

Artie in Legion of Death.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I'll say. Very lucky. It took me longer to find it than for you to answer. Your turn.

I'm sorry! LOL! But I just started thinking about cases where Artie had needed to explain his disguise and...

Now I have to find one.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

I found a list of a few I had noted down awhile back, and here's one:

From Season 1:

"Who shall I say?"

(Probably going to be very easy.)

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Maybe from "The Night of the Flying Pie–Plate," teaser. I think it went—

"Well, it's not enough. Hanging's too good for anyone who'd turn another man green."

Or maybe you're thinking of another.

That was the tag.

Hanging is never enough when you paint someone green. But, in this case, it's not the right enough.

I am totally blanking out on this one. Might need a clue (or two or three...).

James: Thanks, Artie.

Artie in Amnesiac either to himself on the sidewalk as he is approaching the pawn shop or to the shop keeper?

With that "Bum Bum, ba-Bum Bum Bum" going on I'm thinking it could be from Cadre but as to who said the line. I'll have to dig out the ep.

That was my thought, but I watched Cadre last night and didn't catch it. As I've said before, that doesn't mean it wasn't there. Such a brief phrase might have slipped by. Good luck!
