I got it. Was forced to watch Cadre again and pay closer attention. Oh the horror of the scene in the lab where Jim lost his shirt...
General Trask to Jim as they watch Ralph Kleed run the gauntlet of the explosions. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

And it really was a remark buried in other talk. I actually kind of heard it when I watched this time--and didn't realize it. I had to back up and listen again to be sure!
Got to dig through my notes and see if I can find another tricky one! |

You're slipping, DT. Took you 42 minutes!
Say, doesn't it seem as though you and I are passing the ball back and forth?
Find another good one. |

Well, I had to drive home from work and let the dogs out and turn my computer on. I'll be back with a quote though not for a few hours. |

"What was he so anxious to blow up?"
Right off the top, I'd guess that's the agents' curiosity over Captain Jackson's interest in demolition ("The Deadly Bed"). I'd also guess that's probably be wrong. |

Persnickety, aren't we? Offhand I'd say Artemus to West, who then makes some crack about Jackson's not being a religious man, but … . |

Your turn with the quote.
I pause in this thread to redirect you to this weekend's quiz. There you'll find twenty—count 'em—twenty "favourite lines of dialogue." You're sure to love 'em. |

That's a leftover from last weekend's quiz. It's for whoever wants it. |
