How about the desk clerk to James.

That is correct. Your turn.

Thanks for giving me a chance

It hasn't been confirmed yet but DT. So you may still have a chance.

I had a chance, considering she told Apple to keep going. Didn't know Chibbi meant Apple. Glad to help you find the ep.

Now, now, no need to be disapointed. Perhaps you'll get the next quote. I shall come up with something in a bit.

Well... I could have posted the answer to the last quote, except I thought it was Apple's to try again since she came so close! She ID'd the episode, a huge clue for us all.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I'd say that's Artemus in disguise as someone who's drunk...

Not to many inebriated characters that I can think of but what about the Sheriff in the Colonel's Ghost episode.

How about the other guy who seemed to be the Sheriff's drinking bud. I believe he was the town doctor.

I'm beginning to think that perhaps it's not someone who is inebriated but with an accent or something. Hmmmm... *puts on thinking cap to ponder this other slant*

Wild wild guess:

The governor in Whirring Death... to Jim?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Well... just one of those. Seems to happen that way. You think you found a real toughie and someone guesses right away. Then the time you kind of give up and throw out a "simple" one you end up having to give six clues! My first thought, honestly, was that it was a Loveless quote but when I started thinking about the Loveless episodes, I realized it sounded like Jesse White!

I'll see what I can do. Be back later.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Trouble with you is youíre spoiled.

James: Thanks, Artie.
