Ok then...Which episode was "Howdy" from?

Didn't Artie say that? Or was that in the first season? I can't remember.

Well, I'm almost positive WWWchicky is right that it's Artie - in my head he is responding, slightly sarcastically and somewhat amused, to someone saying it to him. I'm still trying to remember which ep.

HA!! Yeah no matter who figures out the "Howdy" quote---WWWchicky is up next anyway. Maybe she's up twice now for saying "Artie said it".

I've watched them so many times I can usually get an idea of what the episode I'm looking at is about! It's kind of fun, actually--I don't know why.

Okay--I'll get a quote up ASAP!

Once in a while I can do that too.

That's why I could hear Artie saying it so clearly - that's one of the 9 episodes I watched this past weekend.

So are we now, for the first time, having two quotes at a time to be solved? Chickys got one win with a new quote. Up to you, ccb.

Season Two: I appeal to you for help.

That's Leandra to Our Boys, begging them to fix her up with a hot date for the weekend, or something like that. Artie took a bullet in the shoulder trying to satisfy. What a guy.

Enough! These quotations are driving me bats. I'm decreeing to Silver the next brain-tickler. I'm staying far away from this thread for the foreseeable future,

Bats? You could always come to Austin and live under the Congress Avenue Bridge, a.k.a. the bat bridge. The Austin American Statesman (newspaper) carries bat flight times. Have I ever mentioned that our city motto is "Keep Austin Weird"? A homeless cross-dresser once came in 2nd of five canditates for mayor.

Oh goody! I'm up! Thank you very much.

I really think this one is going to be tough, but you know how that goes, right?

"That's tellin' 'em, fat fella."

Season One

Artie to himself in Puppeteer.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

I think I'm right, but I'll wait for Silver to confirm. Believe it's part of his drunk scene when he talks to Wilbur.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Give the little lady a cigar! Rats, I should have known other people had noticed something that odd. I always wondered if he ad-libbed that because he was being given a hard time about not being excessively slender and fit like RC.

35 minutes - that has to be close to the record for fast response?

California Gal is now in the hot seat.
