Artie in Big Blackmail?

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

My original guess was Artie to Jim in "TNOT Avaricious Actuary", but I decided on Winged Terror.

HOWEVER, I've had a change of heart.

Was it in vain?

WWWchicky :>

Artie: James…you’re always hanging around.

Jim: An occupational hazard—lately, I seem to get tied up in my work.

To quote an old Gumby episode (sorry, I just have to)...
"I'm afraid it is." In vain I mean.

I'll join you back at the old drawing board, chicky!

I'm not sure because I'm now thinking it is from a spooky 4th season ep, just for Halloween. The eps mentioned aren't the eerie ones....

But I'm just going to take a stab at it with the Sheriff to Jim in Sabatini Death.

Well those were my top 3 episode choices so I think I'm taking the rest of the night off. I'll sleep on it and be back in the morning!

It sounds like something Artie would say but as to the ep...hmmm. Let me think.

Those were my thoughts, too--and I can hear him saying it, but I can't think of who he said it to.

Feel like giving us a clue, Tomk? Animal, vegetable, or mineral?

Being season 4... could it be an Artie sub?

James: Thanks, Artie.

Ok, here's a clue...which will point you in
the right direction.

Oh man--I'm still thrown off so far. I was dwelling too much on one of the gothic, gloomy episodes, thinking it would be one of those. I still don't know.

Anything to do with the booby-trapped room of Janus Jim had to get through without getting blown-up, etc?

No, you've been right once so far, episode-wise.

Ohhh---I thought I was wrong on everything so far... Time to start thinking who said the quote to whom in which of my 4 episode guesses all over again!

AAH!! I figured I better start watching the episodes instead of guessing. I'm just going by memory. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
