No, I'm afraid not.
Let me know if you want any more clues.

Hmmm...this sounds like there was an unexpected visitor.

I'm going to go out on a limb here--Artie to himself in "TNOT Kraken," when he was breaking into What's-His-Face's room.

Otherwise, I have another guess, which I will save for when I get home. (Remember, I was never here...)

Artie: James…you’re always hanging around.

Jim: An occupational hazard—lately, I seem to get tied up in my work.

Hey--I'm working on it now. I'm watching Sedgewick Curse right now, but think it may be the wrong first of 3 I'm planning to watch today!

And I don't mind watching all of 4th season's spooky episodes. This is my favorite time of year to do that!

I'm still going to finish Sedgewick Curse first though, since I saw 3/4 of it before I had to leave. Can't miss the ending!! (Which I've seen 10 million times).

Indeed. You should have a glass of brandy, too, like Dr. Maitland.
BTW, I posted on another thread that I talked to Gene Labell once
about this episode. Since he was playing a mute, the powers that be over at CBS said he couldn't get punched in the face.
I don't think he does.

No- so far I haven't seen that happen. Jim didn't go after him like he did the others. I'll check again though. I'm waiting for my son Bri to finish his show on the big screen. He's hogging it right now! That's where I mostly watch all the WWW episodes. Sedgewick Curse is in the dvd player where I left off on that TV.

Oh geez! I just caught the line but almost missed it because it was said so quick! This was a tough catch, tomk!!!

Jeremy Pike (as Baron Klaus Esterhousererer ) to Jim & Mr. Blessing in Janus.

How did you decide on that?? It was mixed in between a long paragraph of script that was nearly impossible to notice. Good one! Very challenging for sure!!!

You are correct! You win the prize which is the second Falcon cannon
now in my backyard and pointed at the city of Oakland!
I wantetd to pick something from Janus, and since some here know
every episode by heart, that was the only line of dialogue that didn't stand out too much.
My clues were about Jackie DeShannon.
She wrote the song When You Walk In The Room (one of the greatest songs and greatest riffs ever) and co-wrote Bette Davis Eyes.
Actually, Bruce Springsteen just OPENED his concert a few days ago in Philadelphia with When You Walk In The Room.
You're up!

I meant to ask you what "Betty Davis Eyes" had to do with the quote! I only know the song from the 80's that--who was it??--Kim Karnes I think--did. I was looking for someone that maybe looked like Bette Davis who maybe said the quote, That's why I said the creepy-looking housekeeper in Sedgewick Curse. I was just guessing!!

Wowsers--I can honestly say I never would have thought to look in Janus. But now it makes sense--the mysterious visitor was Jeremy!

Nice job, DE!

I had a sneaking suspicion the quote came from one of the non-Artie episodes, which few of us watch regularly. And finding a quote that's embedded in a long conversation is usually the tricky ones!

Good job, tomk. And you too, Dieter. Now it's your turn to stump us.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Thanks, chicky!! It was a surprise guess that turned out right. And not because of the Betty Davis Eyes clue. I had no idea Jackie DeShannon (in Janus) co-wrote that song. I just looked the song up and saw Kim Carnes did the version I've heard in 1981.

I only thought about something that happens in a room--which reminded me of the rigged room Jim had to escape bombs and swords, etc from in Janus.

OK--Expect a new quote anytime.......

I will try my best, CalGal!!! I've never looked for a sentence like what tomk picked out like that before!! Super tricky for sure! But I felt I had to find this one. It was my main project the last couple of days!!

Btw--Since I rarely watch Janus, I just happened to notice that Anthony Eisley was in it--RC's partner in Hawaiian Eye. I forgot about that. And also the eccentric professor that I just saw last week in Steel Assassin from season 1. I didn't know he was in multiple eps of WWW playing the same nutty professor!!

I watched Steel Assassin fairly recently and thought, that guy is in another episode. Which one? Should have looked him up!

James: Thanks, Artie.

I'm a musician, so maybe my clues were too out there.
I thought the songs (if you Google them) would lead you
to Jackie DeShannon and then to Janus.

No problem because that made your clues to the quote all the more challenging. Do you ever notice how easy they sometimes are?? I've put some out that got solved within a couple minutes!!
