Whew. I decided to watch Skulls because I remembered the "candlelit dinner," but couldn't remember anything about sharp implements. However, Jim had the sword fight with the Asian guy.

Let me see if I can find one for you, DT. Seems we're playing Ping-Pong here!

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Season 4:

That's good enough for me.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Hmmm. That sounds so like something Col R would say. Will have to check DVD.

If no one has made a correct response by later this afternoon, I'll try to come up with a suitably obscure clue...

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

This clue probably isn't obscure enough but it's the best I could come up with...

Elvis he's not.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

I thought that clue would be a dead giveaway. Guess I'll have to think of one not quite so "obscure."

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Well, I did check out the ep that had some singing but I didn't hear the line. Of course I could've missed it.

There's actually a couple of episodes in season 4 that have some singing. In the one I have in mind, there's more than singing. And a further hint, the singer isn't the speaker of the quote.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.

That might help a bit. I was concentrating on the singer and their lines.

Hey, Chibbi, maybe we should throw out some wild guess and see if we can narrow the field.

So how about Artemus to ? - Plague (from the part I slept through)

Not Artemus, not Plague. 25 eps to go.

You know, I wonder if I was wrong to label it "singing."

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

One from 24 is 25, right?

Yes, "only" 23 episodes remaining.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Right episode, wrong speaker. Try again.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?

Right-O! Your turn, tomk.

James: Thanks, Artie.

I watched a passel of season 4 eps last week to try to find the final mention of Aunt Maude, and I'm sure I heard that expression. Here's a Wild Wild guess:

The substitute gourmet diner (thug) in Avaricious Actuary.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
