I just saw that ME-TV changed their line-up for this Saturday to do a tribute day for Martin Landau...all episodes featuring him. So at 6pm on WWW will be Night of the Red-Eyed Madman instead. That is very cool!! Even an ep of Mission:Impossible at midnight too.

Red-Eyed Madman was excellant to see on ME-TV tonight. Great tribute episode for Martin Landau. Ironically, the originally scheduled ep was to be Vipers, and Red West who also just passed away, was Jim's main fight adversary. Sad to see them go!

Yes, TNOT Red-Eyed Madman was truly a classic episode from the first season. It never gets old for me.

But Me-TV really gets old from their commercials for prescription drugs and then commercials from lawyers to sue from the side-effects of the prescription drugs. And then they chop up the TV shows even more so they can get more airtime for their repulsive ads selling more drugs, healthcare plans and laxatives. I'm so tired of it.

I have to go now. In one of their ads, I called the 800 number to order an enema syringe that also has a built-in mop and FM radio. I can't wait. I'll let you know the results when I receive it. No, maybe I'd better not.

Thats exactly why I record all the WWW eps on dvr and watch it later. I fast forward through most of the annoying commercials to just watch the show only. I do catch some of the ads for other ME-TV shows, but the rest I pass right up. I'm watching Red-Eyed Madmen again on dvr right now....3rd time as usual! Classic Wild all the way. Awesome photography the way it was filmed!

The Night of the Underground Terror

Nehemiah Persoff says: "Sound the drum!"

Then Whitey Hughes plays the snare drum with everyone saluting including the men with the strange green masks.

Mr. West rips his pants -
There was a scene when the WWW logo is shown above the door in the train -
Then the rotating table with a bar at the end -
Good music -

I liked it, I had fun.

I only watch this now in bits and pieces since a rival retro station airs a show by the name of The Outcasts at the same time. It starred Don Murray, one of my top favorites of all time. And I know it's heresy but I find myself wondering what the Wild Wild West would have been like if Don had played James West.

Not only is Don an excellent actor (and quite a looker as well), but also one of the nicest people on the planet. Though I haven't seen him for nearly 30 years, I send him a card on his birthday every year and he always sends back a sweet note.

And, of course, that marvelous flip that Jim does when he gets shot in the leg. (Pretty sure that one was all RC!)

You're welcome Roger. I just noticed that myself after watching that episode a zillion times before.

It's funny how you notice things the more you watch these episodes.

TNOT UNDEAD tonight.

It has been a LONG time since I have seen this one. May not have seen it since the 1990s.

Will be interesting to watch.

Watched most of it. Kind of blah. Artie talking about Aunt Maud was funny, though.

Tiny John
Armbruster
Articulus
Mariah
Phalah

A great episode overall. Original music by Fred Steiner gives it unique character all its own. I always liked this episode and I still remember the first time I viewed it in 1968.

On a personal note, the character Phalah always reminded me of an English teacher I had in high school. Every time I'd show up for class I was reminded of the Undead episode by the way she spoke and wore her hair.

I find the idea of the Big Bad marrying the daughter of his lost love on the eighteenth anniversary of the day they didn't get married squicky in the extreme! (And the poor kid in question doesn't look a day over fifteen, in my estimation.)

Oh yeah I've always loved Undead! Gloomy atmosphere...great for Halloween. Voodoo, Zombies and Walking Dead like. Music was awesome for all that. Just the terrific teaser keeps you hooked to the rest, and Jim's awesome fight scene after he says he's through working was classic. One of my Season 3 favorites!!

Next up...

AMNESIAC

a fun episode

opening fight scene in the carriage was very good for the 1960s

reminded me of the one in FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE in the train car with Bond vs. Nash

I like the exploding barn scene in AMNESIAC

Maybe 'they' married young, but in this case it's Creepy Old Dude drugging Sweet Young Thing into marriage - and all to get revenge on her parents! I'm glad Phalah gave him what he deserved.

Yeah! Arte's use of psychology on Phalah is great too.

funny how Artie whacked that big guy with the cane and he fell into a barrel of water and it looked like he drowned but they made sure that he showed up in a scene later so everyone could tell that he did not drown

most over-acting in the series was in the short scene where the kid is explaining to the towns people about "Pow! Pow! Pow!" and the old lady on the left is nodding her head

a good episode

some fun Season 4 episodes coming up soon

I didn't notice the drowned man in a later scene. Could you direct me?

about the kid repeating himself

and, regarding the big guy looking like he drowned...

he didn't drown

he was the big man that Artie knocked into a barrel of water when he was disguised as a majician

he left him there in the barrel as he went into other room but the guy shows up again later to show that he did not drown

Me TV is making some changes to their schedule for the Fall beginning in September.

Sure hope that they do not take away THE WILD WILD WEST on Saturday nights at 6:00 EST.
