RIP.

James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"?
James: Thanks, Artie.
Artemus: It's a pleasure.

Just saw that he had passed. I liked him. He could be funny on screen which isn't easy to do.

According to IMDb, he appeared in 35 episodes as an actor and 34 as a stuntman. Don't know how many of those overlapped. He was in just the last 2 seasons (and one of the movies), but certainly made an impression.

If you ever get an opportunity to see the indie film "Goodbye Solo," in which he starred, don't miss it. Excellent performance.

James: Thanks, Artie.

Yeah, he worked with Robert Conrad a few times before Baa Baa Black Sheep.

Goodbye Solo was excellent! I watched it specifically because Red West was one of the two main characters. (And he even got to punch someone. *grin*)

Mr West actually had a bit part in 'Palm Springs Weekend' - it was such a surprise spotting him in that when I first saw it.
